Titto's Latin BBQ & Brew Delivers Consistent Flavors!

I went back to Titto’s Latin BBQ & Brew in Greenhills and decided to revisit some old favorites.

First on the table would have to be their refreshing AGUA FRESCAS. Ice cold drinks are a must to beat the stifling heat and since I was there for lunch, we kept it alcohol-free. We tried the Limonada Rosada, Cucumber Elderflower, Pineapple Ginger and Tittto’s Iced Tea. Everything was delicious and refreshing. I reckon that they would all make pretty good cocktails with a shot of vodka or rum.

To start off the meal, we kept it healthy with the Titto’s House Salad. I love the crunch that comes with the almonds and crispy mushrooms. While this is a house salad, nothing about it is boring and plain. The raspberry vinaigrette dressing perfectly tied together the fresh greens and the crispy elements. P395

The Titto’s Elote (Php320) is served all sliced up off the cob. This is great for people like me who would like to keep our hands clean while eating. This also provides the convenience of eating with my utensils instead of gnawing at the cob. The corn is perfectly seasoned with grated cheese and Mexican spices. This is always a crowd pleaser at our table and we usually end up ordering more than one serving.

El Toro (Php395) is one of my favorite Titto’s appetizers and you will surely love it if you like puff pastry. The delicate bite-sized pastry is filled with cheese crema, caramelized onions and beef barbacoa shreds. Honestly I can order this and have it as a main if only I didn't have to share. Highly recommended!

The Truffle Pork Pizzadilla (P420) is a flour tortilla converted into a thin crust pizza. The crust is topped with thinly-sliced pork, melted cheeses and fried garlic. Simple but packed with flavor. The thin crust keeps it light but the decadent toppings more than make up for that! I'm generally skeptical of improvised pizzas but this was genuinely good!

Overall, everything is full of complex flavors and interesting textures. These are my go-to dishes at Titto's apart from their street tacos. I can't wait to head back for a few drinks and bites. It's probably time to revisit the Kapitolyo branch as well!
