Manila Marriott Hotel Director of Culinary Meik Brammer, on the other hand, expressed joy at having found a collaborator in Tausug Chef Miggy Moreno who shares the same advocacy and commitment to elevate and bring Filipino cuisine to the global culinary stage. “It is a pleasure and honor to find an organization or individual who shares the same vision for a program like Sinagtala,” said Brammer. “If Filipinos and Filipinos-at-heart will come together to create platforms that will showcase the rich Filipino culinary arts and heritage, there is no doubt that it will eventually gain its rightful place in the world where it can be appreciated and celebrated,” Brammer added.
