Bali Hotel Review: DASH Hotel Seminyak

I have been to Bali several times but I realized that there are so many different districts all with a different vibe. For my most recent trip, I spent a quiet few days in Nusa Dua. Afterwards, we moved to Seminyak where were in the thick of things. We chose the DASH HOTEL SEMINYAK for its central location.

DASH HOTEL is located right in the heart of Seminyak on the main road of Jalan Petitenget. On either side of the hotel and right across from it, you will find a good number of restaurants, hotels, shops and clubs. If you are looking from  some parties and a lot of socializing while you are in Bali, this is the place to be.

Inside the hotel, you will find a very hip and trendy vibe. They have graffiti-inspired walls in the rooms and a very industrial and modern aesthetic throughout the property.

An inverted red bunny seems to be the “mascot” for the property. All of the rooms have one and you have the option to purchase it.  A giant version guards the poolside.

The pool is located in the atrium and you can see how much they wanted to go against the flow by using red tiles instead of the usual white or blue. this gives the pool a slightly mysterious and sensual atmosphere.

On the rooftop, there is a little tiki bar where you can lay out in the sun and enjoy some cocktails. This is also a good spot to enjoy the sunset or to have a refreshing dip. The have a small soaking pool on the rooftop and it works really well during sweltering summer evenings out in the tropics.

The hotel has all the basics, a gym, a pool, a bar, a restaurant in the ground floor….What else do you really need? The beach is just a 10-20 minute ride away and you can find restaurants and clubs just by walking around. It’s a good place to be in the center of the action.

If you are looking for a quieter location and a more zen vibe, check out my review of Bali Tropic Resort in Nusa Dua.
