POUND BURGERS: Now Open in SM North Edsa
Northerners rejoice! POUND BURGERS are now available in SM North EDSA. The 9th branch of the successful burger chain has opened its doors and is ready improved versions of their famous burgers. Thanks to the addition of Chef Carlo Miguel to the team, POUND BURGERS are even better than before!
I won’t cut to the chase, let me start off by sharing a photo of the POUND Foie Gras Burger. Needless to say, this is my favorite item on the menu. Two succulent slices of seared foie gras sit on top of double beef patties. It’s a mouthful of juicy indulgence in every bite. The patties are juicy and perfectly seasoned. I always eat this carefully with a knife and fork to make sure that I get a small piece of foie in every bite.
If you’re looking for something less decadent (why though?), there are a lot of other options. My go-to alternative is the Amsterdam Burger. I’m a big fan of bacon and onions so this burger is a big hit for me.
Speaking of onions, the Onion Cube at POUND is my favorite side dish. While I also like fries, I find onion rings to be lighter and a bit more interesting. This crispy cube of onion goodness is a block of onion rings fried together to form a snack that’s good for sharing.
Frankly though, Pound Burgers are good even if you have the most basic cheeseburger. Sometimes, you just feel like going for the simple goodness of a burger with no frills. The patties here are meaty and juicy. Everything you add on is really just a bonus.
If someone in your group isn’t feeling like having a burger, there’s some pasta on the menu as well.
don’t worry, they also serve salads here in case you are looking for something light. some of the burgers also come as sliders if you want a smaller serving.
